Thomas George Muthoot, also known as Georgie, is a business leader credited with powering the much-diversified conglomerate, the Muthoot Pappachan Group’s (MPG) into multiple sectors – from gold loans to two-wheeler finance and microfinance. Dynamic and versatile, Georgie is the core promoter of the Group and is also the Managing Director of Muthoot Capital Services Limited and Promoter-Director of Muthoot Fincorp Limited. He led Muthoot Capital Services Limited from scratch to the fastest-growing NBFC and automotive retail finance provider in India. He is also a Director on various MPG companies, across varied business domains, including hospitality, microfinance, affordable housing, automotive retail, real estate, and so on. Georgie has been hands-on with MPG’s business for over three (3) decades now. The three Promoter-Directors have worked as a team, with a ganbaru spirit, working tirelessly & zealously, to take the Muthoot Pappachan Group to such scale, diversity and heights.
