The year 2020 brought about challenges that were unprecedented, and nano businesses were affected the most. With all the changes that the pandemic and the consequent lock-downs brought, these nano and small businesses were left wanting for guidance and assistance to get used to the new way of doing business. The team at Muthoot Fincorp realized the need to offer the right guidance to nano and small businesses, and so partnered with INK to launch an initiative for businesses owners to restart and rebuild their business. And so #RestartIndia came into being. We responded to more than a 1000 queries of small businesses from different sectors like retail, technology, branding, finance, etc, with the support of the Mentor network, so that these small businesses could recover, rebuild and restart. We at #RestartIndia continue to address questions and queries from small and nano businesses, which we publish on our website or answer in our talk shows. We also recognized the need to digitize small businesses and help them improve their processes. We’ve trained more than 200 nano entrepreneurs in using digital tools which has increased their revenue and customer reach. We continue to provide skilling in specific business functions to help improve their capabilities.
